This site was developed with the belief that as Americans, we can set aside our political differences and agree that our legislators are making a mockery of our system at U.S. Taxpayers expense.
They literally spend TRILLIONS of our hard earned dollars, without the slightest concern they will be exposed and held accountable for their actions because they have become accustomed to their constituents apathy. It is time to band together and tell our ELECTED Officials loudly and clearly, in no uncertain terms, WE ARE NOT GOING TO STAND FOR IT ANY LONGER!
Most likely we will never completely agree on stimulus plans, health care, cap and trade, etc. However, I wholeheartedly believe we can ALL agree our ELECTED representatives MUST be required to READ and FULLY UNDERSTAND ALL potential legislation PRIOR to any vote being taken in either the House or the Senate.
We MUST demand that each and every House Representative and U.S. Senator acknowledge (IN WRITING to their constituents) they have READ and FULLY UNDERSTAND each and every potential Bill prior to any vote being cast!
It seems silly a petition is necessary to require our very own ELECTED officials to READ and FULLY UNDERSTAND potential legislation (PRIOR to a vote) but, the truth of the matter is, IT IS NECESSARY!
We can no longer afford to sit back and watch our ELECTED representatives engage in corrupt and irresponsible behavior.
Let us not forget that THE UNITED STATES CONSTITUTION begins with...WE THE PEOPLE!!

We are in the process of sorting each signature by state and then by congressional district. Signatures will be sent to appropriate Congressmen/women and Senators. We will also be forwarding a complete list of signatures to Congressmen Ron Paul and Senator Jim DeMint and possibly others. We are experiencing great success but, we need more signatures and we need them NOW. Please contact friends, family, radio stations, tv stations and newspapers NOW. WE can make a difference...

they are passing bills that they have not even read.Unreal - and they were elected to "represent" the people.
